Together, We Change the Lives of Thousands of Animals

We are committed to reducing the stray animal population in Thailand and alleviating their suffering . We combat pain, itching, and hunger, and strive for a better quality of life for every animal, today and in the future.

Stichting Project Street Dogs Thailand is a Dutch non-profit organization founded in 2011. Our focus is on the structural reduction of the number of stray animals in Thailand, particularly through large-scale sterilization campaigns. In addition, we provide medical care, food, and shelter to stray animals that are injured, sick, or weakened.

Every rescue story starts with compassion. From emergency medical care and street feeding to sterilization, rehabilitation, and finding loving homes, everything we do is focused on giving Thailand’s street dogs a safer, healthier, and happier future. Together with our partners and supporters around the world, we’re creating real change - one life at a time.

We are committed to reducing the stray dog and cat population in Thailand through compassionate, sustainable, and long-term solutions. By supporting sterilization, rescue, medical care, education, and responsible animal welfare initiatives, we aim to create a future where every animal is treated with dignity, care, and respect.

By getting involved, you become part of a movement creating real change for stray animals in Thailand. Together, we can provide lifesaving care, reduce suffering, support sustainable rescue efforts, and give vulnerable dogs and cats the chance to live safer, healthier, and more hopeful lives.

Health begins with prevention. Through vaccinations, sterilization, parasite control, and early medical support, preventive care helps stop suffering before it starts. By focusing on long-term health and disease prevention, we can protect vulnerable street animals and create healthier communities for both animals and people.

Becoming part of the Project Street Dogs mission means becoming part of something bigger than yourself - a movement built on compassion, hope, and second chances. Every rescue, every meal, every medical treatment, and every wagging tail tells a story of lives transformed because someone chose to care.

At Project Street Dogs Thailand, we don’t just help animals survive — we help them heal, trust again, and experience love for the first time. Whether you donate, volunteer, foster, sponsor, or simply share our mission, you become a vital part of changing the reality for stray dogs living on the streets of Thailand.

The impact goes far beyond the animals. It creates a community of people united by kindness, purpose, and the belief that even the smallest act of compassion can save a life. There is something incredibly powerful about knowing that because of you, a frightened street dog gets a warm bed, a full belly, medical care, and a future they never thought possible.

Together, we are turning suffering into safety, fear into trust, and forgotten lives into stories worth celebrating.

Hungry dogs are vulnerable dogs. Without proper nutrition, their immune systems weaken, leaving them exposed to parasites, illness, and suffering. Regular feeding not only saves lives in the moment - it gives street dogs the strength, health, and chance they need to survive and recover.

Every day, we receive heartbreaking reports of stray dogs and cats injured in traffic accidents. Broken backs, shattered legs, fractured jaws, severe wounds, and life-threatening injuries leave these animals suffering alone on the streets. Through urgent rescue, medical treatment, and rehabilitation, we give them a second chance at life, safety, and healing.

For many rescued animals, the real journey to recovery begins after the initial treatment. Aftercare is essential  wounds need ongoing care, medications must be administered, and frightened, injured animals require time, patience, and love to heal both physically and emotionally. With proper aftercare, survival becomes recovery, and recovery becomes a second chance at life.

Since 2011, we have been dedicated to reducing animal suffering in Thailand through dog and cat sterilization and castration programs. Since 2020, we have significantly expanded our efforts and are now operating on a much larger scale.

This year, together with our partner Dierenhulp.nl Foundation from the Netherlands and our supporters, we are once again making great progress in helping dogs and cats while preventing countless cases of animal suffering. Thanks to this collective effort, more and more animals are being given the opportunity to live healthier, safer, and better lives.
