Kitty Boonman

Secretary

During my travels to Thailand, I was deeply moved by the suffering of the stray animals. My friendship with Marlie Timmermans, founder of Project Street Dogs Thailand, dates back to 1997.

When I heard in 2011 that she had moved to Thailand, I naturally went to visit her in Hua Hin. There, I could see with my own eyes the fantastic work she and her team are doing for the many animals in need. Since that moment, I have become closely involved with the foundation.

Marlie's dedication and drive inspired me enormously, and eventually, she asked me if I wanted to become secretary of Project Street Dogs Thailand โ€” a role I fulfill with pride. Nowadays, I travel to Thailand annually to help on-site and to experience once again how the foundation works and how much impact it makes.

It is not only an honor to be part of this wonderful work, but I have also become a great lover of Thailand. Since that visit, I have become closely involved with the foundation. Marlie's dedication and compassion inspired me enormously, and eventually, she asked me if I wanted to become secretary of Project Street Dogs Thailand. I fulfill that role with pride, hoping to make a lasting contribution to the well-being of voiceless animals.
